Home Health Care Workers identified as essential by DHS

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information and Resources

According to the United States Department of Homeland Security’s CISA division, functioning critical infrastructure is imperative during the response to the COVID-19 emergency for both public health and safety as well as community well-being. Certain critical infrastructure industries have a special responsibility in these times to continue operations.

Among the list of essential workers are nurses, aides, and other workers in Home Health Care. As such, Caring Hands United will continue to provide services during the COVID-19 crisis. All workers must carry their company badge and, in some cases, a designation letter which may be presented to authorities upon request. Call your staffing coordinator for additional information.
