Starting services with us is easy. Contact us online or by phone and a care coordinator will discuss your family’s needs and send a nurse out to do an assessment.
How to start home care services using VA benefits
Get in touch with your VA social worker to discuss eligibility for home care services. If you are eligible for services, request to be matched with Caring Hands United Inc for home care services. All enrolled Veterans are eligible for Homemaker / Home Health Aide Care IF they are eligible for community care and meet the clinical criteria for the service and it is available.

  • Please Note: A copay (payable to the VA) for Homemaker and Home Health Aide services may be charged based on your VA service-connected disability status.
How to start traditional home care services through a Medicaid waiver like SOURCE, CCSP, ICWP, NOW, or COMP

If You Are Currently Receiving Home Care Services From Another Home Care Provider

If you or your loved one is currently receiving home care services from another home care provider, contact your case manager and request to be rebrokered to Caring Hands United Inc. From there, your case manager will forward your case information to us and we will contact you to schedule an admission assessment.


Approved For Home Care Services, But Not Yet Matched With A Home Care Provider

Contact your case manager and request to be matched with Caring Hands United Inc. From there, your case manager will forward your case information to us and we will contact you to schedule an admission assessment.


Applied Already But Don’t Know the Outcome and Don’t Have A Case Manager

If you’ve already started the application process with another agency, then it’s important to retrace your steps and get back in touch with the last person you spoke to regarding your application. For every conversation you have, take detailed notes, get names, phone numbers and email addresses. Did you apply through a home care agency, your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA), or a Case Management company?
