The Personal Support Attendant (PSA) time is not approved for activities such as recreation, babysitting, or vocational training. Nor is The Personal Support Attendant (PSA) time allowed for verbal prompting or cuing, or supervision.
Our Field Supervisory Nurses May Conduct Supervisory Visits As Necessary For Client Teaching Purposes Or To Conduct Employee Supervision And In-Services. During the supervisory visit, the nurse will:
- Do Vital Signs And A Brief Physical Assessment On The Client
- Perform in-home in-service relevant to the client or nurse aide
- Assess for appropriateness of care

Extended Personal Support
This offers personal care, medically related transportation, housekeeping and other services as ordered by the Care Management Team. Extended personal support consists of 2.5 or more hours of service per day. A nurse manager and staffing coordinator is available 24 hours daily to answer questions and address your concerns. Special restrictions apply.
