The Personal Support Attendant (PSA) can help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as:<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-1-2 su-column-style-0\">\n<ul>\n<li>Mobility\/Transfers<\/li>\n<li>Medications<\/li>\n<li>Bathing or grooming<\/li>\n<li>Dressing or undressing<\/li>\n<li>Range of Motion exercises<\/li>\n<li>Eating<\/li>\n<li>Toileting, Changing Depends<\/li>\n<li>Hair Care, Nail Care, Foot Care<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with Ambulating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Personal Support Attendant (PSA) time is not approved for activities such as recreation, babysitting, or vocational training. Nor is The Personal Support Attendant (PSA) time allowed for verbal prompting or cuing, or supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Our Field Supervisory Nurses May Conduct Supervisory Visits As Necessary For Client Teaching Purposes Or To Conduct Employee Supervision And In-Services.\u00a0During the supervisory visit, the nurse will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do Vital Signs And A Brief Physical Assessment On The Client<\/li>\n<li>Perform in-home in-service relevant to the client or nurse aide<\/li>\n<li>Assess for appropriateness of care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility Screening &amp; Cost<\/h3>\n<p>Check our <a href=\"https:\/\/caringhandsunited.com\/info\/frequently-asked-questions\/\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/a> page. Extended personal support consists of 2.5 or more hours of service per day.\u00a0A nurse manager and staffing coordinator is available 24 hours daily to answer questions and address your concerns.
