With SFC, one primary caregiver is selected and only that person can receive stipend payments for taking care of the member. Switching to another family caregiver requires approval from the Case Manager and the SFC provider agency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"p-QcIdgl6Dl47QMCqb pagelayer-heading fadeInLeft pagelayer-wow pagelayer-anim-slow animated\" align=\"left\">\n<div class=\"pagelayer-heading-holder\">\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/caringhandsunited.com\/info\/portfolio\/family-hire\/\">Family Hire (FH)<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is when a Medicaid member is approved to receive traditional home care services through CCSP, SOURCE, and ICWP. Normally, the personal care services are provided by non-related personal care aides, but with Family Hire, an immediate or extended family member can also be hired to work in the home, as long as that family member has onboarded with the home care provider agency in the same way that any other employee would.<\/p>\n<p>Under the DBHDD program, the <a href=\"https:\/\/caringhandsunited.com\/info\/family-caregiver-pay\/comp-now-family-caregiver\/\">COMP \/ NOW waiver allows family hire<\/a> on a case by case basis based on a documented hardship.
