COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information and Resources<\/div>\n
Currently, Georgia’s Department of Community Health states that Personal Support Service (PSS) should continue as scheduled; therefore, Caring Hands United will continue to provide essential home care services during the COVID-19 crisis. Employees and personnel are instructed to monitor their temperature daily, practice social distancing, and limit social interactions outside of work. Alert your supervisor immediately if you experience a loss of taste and\/or smell. Additional Employee Training and Resources are provided below.<\/a><\/p>\n

Beginning Friday, March 27, 2020, business hours at our locations will vary and visits to our offices will be restricted to essential employees by appointment only. Current employees may contact a staffing coordinator to discuss alternative options or to set an appointment.<\/p>\n

During your visit, if you notice any signs or possible symptoms, staff should immediately implement recommended infection prevention and control practices. If a member\/patient is suspected of having COVID-19, you should notify your supervisor and immediately report your concerns to the Georgia Department of Public Health (\u201cDPH\u201d) by calling 1-866-PUB-HLTH (1-866-782-4584<\/a>). Ask to speak with a Medical Epidemiologist. Georgia’s DPH has also provided the following hotline number to call if you believe that you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the novel coronavirus: 1-844-442-2681<\/a>.<\/p>\n
